Breadcrumb Caesar Salad

Delicious breadcrumb Caesar salad has the perfect crunch of toasted garlic breadcrumbs and creamy Caesar dressing mixed with chopped romaine lettuce. This is caesar dressing made without anchovy paste, but it does have Worcestershire, which contains anchovies.

  • 2 ½ cups Cubed French Bread
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • ½ tsp Basil
  • 2 tsp Parsley

Caesar Dressing

  • 3 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • Dash of Salt


  • 16 oz Bag of Chopped Romaine Lettuce


  • Breadcrumbs
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Add cubed French bread to the baking sheet. Melt butter in a small bowl and add garlic salt, basil, and parsley. Stir and pour over bread cubes. Stir to coat. Add to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway. Bake until toasted and crunchy.
  • Add bread cubes to a food processor or blender and blend until fine breadcrumbs, set aside. Clean food processor or blender for dressing.
  • Salad
  • Add all ingredients for Caesar dressing to a food processor or blender and blend until creamy and smooth.
  • Prepare the salad by placing romaine lettuce into a bowl, add enough breadcrumbs and caesar dressing to your liking and stir to coat the lettuce. Grate fresh Parmesan cheese on top.
