Texas Roadhouse honey cinnamon butter monkey bread has the same great taste as Texas Roadhouse’s rolls with honey butter and cinnamon but baked like pull-apart monkey bread.
Honey butter monkey bread with cinnamon rolls was dreamed up after having a strong love for Texas Roadhouse’s rolls with their honey cinnamon butter.
Who doesn’t love that?
I decided in creating a copycat recipe, they needed to be more unique than just the rolls themselves. They needed to be smaller bites that could be pulled apart with lots of melted honey cinnamon butter drizzled on top.

How to Make Texas Roadhouse Honey Cinnamon Butter Monkey Bread
- Add yeast, sugar, and warm water to a large mixing bowl and allow to dissolve for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.
- Blend in butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt. Begin slowly adding flour until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for 3-4 minutes. Place it back in the mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare two batches of honey cinnamon butter. Set aside.
- Prepare a Bundt pan by lightly greasing with nonstick cooking spray.
- After 30 minutes of letting the dough rise, gently punch the risen dough.
- Place it back on the lightly floured surface and use a rolling pin to roll it into a square.
- Cut 8 even rows and columns to make 64 squares. I find it easiest to cut with a pizza cutter.
- The squares do not have to be perfectly even, but roughly the same size.
- Take each square and roll it into a ball.
- Coat each ball in one of the batches of honey cinnamon butter. Place balls in greased Bundt pan.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes in the Bundt pan.
- While it rises, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove plastic wrap from the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes then place a serving plate on top of the Bundt pan and flip to invert onto the plate.
- Melt the second batch of honey cinnamon butter in the microwave. Pour over top before serving.
